This role is an important pillar in C&A’s compliance setup and significantly contributes to safeguarding the organization's assets and maintaining operational integrity. **Your responsibilities**: This role will offer the opportunity to: - Develop, implement, and continuously improve the risk management framework, policies, and procedures. - Lead and guide a team of risk managers in identifying, assessing, and managing risks across various operational domains. - Collaborate with senior leadership to align risk management strategies with business objectives. - Facilitate the definition of adequate minimum internal controls and ensure proper documentation; Oversee internal control processes, ensuring they are robust, effective, and compliant with regulatory standards. - Conduct regular risk assessments, monitor risk exposure, and devise mitigation strategies. - Conduct regular risk assessments, monitor exposure, and devise mitigation strategies, including the development and maintenance of a comprehensive business continuity plan. **What you bring**: We are keen to speak to those with a strong blend of the following: - Profound understanding of risk management methodologies, internal control frameworks, and compliance standards. - Strong experience of Business Continuity planning and Crisis Management - Exceptional leadership skills with a proven track record of leading teams effectively. - Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to assess risks and devise appropriate mitigation strategies. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate cross-functionally and convey complex risk-related information effectively - Ability to adapt to evolving regulatory environments and implement best practices accordingly. - Proficiency in English is required; proficiency in German would be a strong asset. - Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Risk Management, or related field.
