**Introduction:
As a Principal Trade Compliance Specialist, you will oversee the compliance of export activities pr in Dresden, Germany, ensuring that GlobalFoundries adheres to all applicable regulations.

**Your Job**:

- Develop and implement procedures for export compliance, maintain export compliance records according to applicable regulations, and perform required reporting to government entities
- Provide direction and guidance to internal stakeholders on export compliance matters
- Communicate with customers, suppliers, and government agencies to answer questions and resolve export compliance issues
- Respond to classification requests and monitor export transactions to ensure compliance with all relevant export laws and regulations

**Required Qualifications**:

- Extensive knowledge and understanding of EU and US trade laws and regulations, such as the Export Administration Regulations (EAR) and the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR)
- Familiarity with export compliance processes and procedures, including those related to export control classification numbers, export license conditions/processes, deemed exports, and dual use commodities
- and at least three years of experience in export compliance. Experience in the semiconductor industry preferred.”
- Strong communication skills both oral and written.
