External Freelance Lecturer

**Your Responsibilities**:
We are looking for a new colleague to join our Business Faculty Team starting this summer semester 2025, who shares our vision of excellence in education and who is committed to making a difference in the lives of our students.

The teaching load comprises two modules, which should be held over two semesters via online. Each module has a workload of 6 SWS (4,5 hours per week) over 16 weeks. Teaching language is English.

To become a freelance lecturer at a university of applied sciences sharing your knowledge and passion with students from all over the world.

**The teaching content is about**:
**Module 1**: Project Management & Leadership
- The introduction and context of Project Management: Why Project Management?
- The Organizational Context: Strategy, structure and culture procurement strategies
- Cost Estimation, Budgeting and Risk Management in Project Management
- Project Scheduling: Networks, Duration Estimation, and Critical Path and Project Scheduling: Lagging, Crashing, Activity Networks and Critical Chain Project Scheduling
- Resource Management, Project Evaluation and Control, Project Closeout and Termination
- Cross-Cultural Leadership Intelligence, Conflict Management and Virtual Teams in Project Management

**Modul 2**:Cross-Culture Management
- Cultural concepts and approaches to the study of culture
- Theoretical models of Cross-Cultural Management
- Understanding Cultural Diversity and Managing Cultural Dilemmas
- Developing Cultural Intelligence
- Cross-Cultural Issues in communication and negotiation
- Culture shock in international assignments
- The Role of Human Resource Management in Cross-Cultural Management
- Leadership styles in Cross-Cultural contexts
- Cross-Cultural challenges in Mergers, Acquisitions and Alliances

**Additional tasks**:

- Preparation and evaluation of certificates of achievement

**Your profile**:

- Relevant professional experience
- Graduation with a Master degree at least
- Completed relevant university studies
- Teaching experience at universities
