Working Student: Social Media

We seek a motivated and creative Social Media Working Student to support our Go-To-Market team at dltHub, our open-source data loading library. You will play a vital role in enhancing our online presence, engaging with the community, and promoting the benefits of our data loading tool. This position offers a unique opportunity to gain practical experience in social media management, digital marketing, and open-source community engagement.

**Responsibilities**:

- Develop and execute social media strategies to increase dltHub's visibility and user engagement across various platforms, including Twitter, LinkedIn, Reddit, and more.
- Create compelling and relevant content, including posts, graphics, and videos, to share updates about dltHub, showcase its features, and highlight success stories.
- Monitor social media channels, respond to comments and inquiries, and proactively engage with the community to foster positive interactions.
- Collaborate with the marketing and development teams to align social media efforts with overall marketing campaigns and product releases.
- Track and analyze social media performance metrics, identify trends, and make data-driven recommendations for continuous improvement.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in social media marketing and open-source community management to drive innovation.

**Requirements**:

- Based in Berlin
- Currently enrolled as a working student with a background in marketing, communications, or a related field.
- Passionate about open-source technologies and eager to contribute to DLTHub's community growth.
- Familiarity with major social media platforms, including Twitter, LinkedIn, Reddit, and others, and understanding of their unique audiences and content requirements.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to craft compelling and engaging social media content.
- Basic design skills to create visually appealing graphics and videos for social media posts.
- Proactive and self-driven with the ability to manage time effectively and meet deadlines.
- Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and tools.
- Basic knowledge of data engineering or data loading concepts, or data science is a plus
