The Application Teams of the Cybersecurity and Applications Practice are responsible for managing the Assurance IT Ecosystem. A key task of the IT Ecosystem is the automation and digitalization of the Siemens Assurance processes.

You will work closely with various Assurance departments and, together with the other members of the DevOps team, ensure the timely implementation of innovation, digitalization, and automation solutions using AI.

**What you’ll be doing.**

We are seeking a talented and motivated **Associate (M/F/d) focus** **Data Science** to join our team. This role is crucial in defining and implementing our AI strategy for Risk and Internal Control governance-related processes as well as operating our AI-based solutions.
- Define and implement AI strategies for Risk and Internal Control governance-related processes.
- Translate Risk and Internal Control process requirements into data science solutions and integrate them within the existing Risk and Internal Controls environment by collaborating with cross-functional teams.
- Design and maintain scalable and reliable data pipelines and architectures.
- Extract insights from complex datasets using advanced data science techniques and machine learning, leveraging Python and AI/ML frameworks.
- Lead global communication and learning strategies for AI-based features within the RIC Tool Ecosystem.
- Manage the end-to-end lifecycle from development to deployment to deliver AI-based solutions.
- Ensure the reliability, scalability, and performance of AI-based solutions in production environments.
- Monitor and troubleshoot AI systems to maintain optimal functionality and promptly address any issues.
- Collaborate with IT and operations teams to ensure seamless integration and operation of AI solutions.

**What it takes**
- At least 5+ years of professional experience in data science and machine learning, including the development and deployment of machine learning models within Siemens, a technology company, or a respected assurance and consulting firm.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, data science, statistics or similar.
- Expert know-how in programming with Python, including experience with AI/ML frameworks such as TensorFlow, Keras, PyTorch, or scikit-learn.
- Proficiency with cloud platforms for data science, such as Azure, OpenShift, including data storage, processing, and model deployment capabilities.
- Good knowledge on GenAI Development Tools and Frameworks, particularly Promptflow, or a strong willingness to independently familiarize yourself with them.
- Solid knowledge of ML/AI Ops best practices, including model versioning, monitoring, and deployment in production environments.
- At least 3 years of project management experience with track record on delivering and operating AI-based solutions
- Self-organized way of working, in a structured and accurate manner as a reliable team player sharing best practices and focusing on results.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work with large, complex datasets to extract meaningful insights.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams and present developments and concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Fluency in German, English is a plus.
