VP Engineering (M/F/d)

**Responsibilities include**:

- Identifying technical solutions and infrastructure to meet the needs of the business
- Working in tandem with the VP of Product, execution of technical aspects of the strategic plan
- Leading all aspects of technology across day-to-day operations
- Coaching and mentoring the technical leadership team to have the confidence needed to drive initiatives either independently, or as peers
- Leading a team of 15 people
- Identifying opportunities for continuous improvement to the Platform and coordinating experiments to confirm them
- Translating product and business vision and strategy for the team & creating a healthy culture of collaboration and inclusion, leading by example

**Qualifications**:

- 4+ years of prior technology leadership experience required
- Worked in an agile environment (eg: Scrum) and contributed to all software development phases: architecture, design, development, testing, deployment, maintenance
- Proven track record of taking a pragmatic approach while solving problems and passionate about code quality
- Effective communication skills to translate complex technical matters to stakeholders and non-technical staff
- Strong leadership and coaching skills
