Finance Intern 17424

This postholder will be a member of the EMEA Centre of Excellence. They will be support for the Financial close working on consolidation and review for EMEA and ad hoc demands. It is expected that they would also be involved in various projects and will have the opportunity to provide analytics and insights to support these projects. They will work closely with the other European Finance team members, the regional Finance teams (19 subsidiaries), as well as the head office in the US and other departments of the EMEA Organisation.
**Responsibilities**:
- Being a centre of excellence when it comes to using analytical tools such as Business Warehouse, Excel and Power BI. Assist/Support other finance team members in using these tools.
- Working on the improvement of existing reporting procedures and converting existing Excel based reporting to Power BI.
- Revenue review and reconciliation, weekly and monthly.
- Backlog weekly and monthly tracking.
- Part Numbers creation.
- Journal entries during the month end closing process.
- Supporting the Annual Operating Plan (AOP) preparation.
- Supporting the documenting processes and procedures.
- Work on ad hoc requirements together with the team as support.
- Running SAP reports.
- Building and running reports in Data Business Warehouse.
**Qualifications**:

**Knowledge, Education and Experience**
- Currently studying in Finance, accounting or business technology
- Appreciated IT background, Programming VBA, knowledge of Microsoft 365, Excel, Power BI and ERP
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, and additional European language would be beneficial.

This position can be based in Eschborn, Germany.
