**The Role**:
As **Scientist Enzyme Analytics**, you will be part of an exciting international R&D and business environment, working with cutting edge technologies and a broad portfolio of diverse projects. The role requires a strong background in enzymology in order to develop and use various methods for enzyme analytics. It includes the opportunity for development, and an attractive compensation package.

You will:

- Join our team of highly dedicated and skilled analytics experts inside the Enzyme Technology discipline
- Develop new methods for enzyme activity measurements, with special focus on Tecan Fluent robotics methods
- Be responsible for one of our Tecan Fluent liquid handling robots
- Carry out high-precision enzyme activity measurements and other characterization of a large variety of enzyme classes and using a broad spectrum of analytical techniques
- Document, report and present your experimental results (e.g., Excel, Word, Powerpoint)
- Proactively contribute to trouble-shooting and continuous improvement and be involved in the harmonization of analytical practices across locations
- You will be based in Darmstadt, Germany and will interface with global R&D teams located in Germany and in Finland, as well as other disciplines (e.g., Quality Control, Application Development)

**About You**:

- A scientific education and degree (Bachelor or Master) or multiple years of working experience
- A proven track record in biochemistry, enzymology, analytical chemistry, or equivalent
- Experience in enzyme kinetics and analytical methods
- Experience in using automated and complex analytical equipment
- A hands-on attitude and passion for delivering high-quality results and problem solving, the continuous desire to learn and develop new skills, high diligence and reliability
- You are a true team player and happy to step in and support your colleagues, especially in times of time pressure and changing priorities
- Good written and verbal communication skills in English, German is a plus
- Experience with other protein techniques (e.g., protein purification, protein biophysics) and/or high-throughput screening is a plus
