**Your role**:
You will be joining the Data Science for Life Science team, as part of the Life Science Analytics Center of Excellence. We develop data science solutions to drive machine learning and optimization projects across all business units, e.g., R&D, supply chain, sales and others. The Associate Data Scientist is expected to support in ideating, developing, and managing our data & analytics tools. With a focus on implementation of algorithms and development of data science models, this also includes tasks such as stakeholder management, presentation of results to mixed audiences and consulting non-technical roles on ML solutions. You are expected to work both independently and collaboratively in small project teams to achieve the best possible outcomes for our internal stakeholders. Working together with our experienced data scientists, product owners and data stewards on a day-to-day basis, you will be able to develop and grow. **Who you are**:
- Strong skills in Machine Learning, Statistics and Predictive Modelling
- Programming skills, e.g. Python, Spark, SQL are essential
- Familiarity with git-based version control workflows is a plus
- Ability to think outside the box and a pragmatic way of working
