The People Experience team is responsible for creating a first-class experience across the employee lifecycle, from the moment new colleagues join Moss, all the way through their careers. We are currently looking for a **Lead Compensation & Benefits (M/F/d)** to join our team and build Europe's next FinTech unicorn. This is a global role, leading comp & ben for all our entities: Germany, UK, Netherlands, Poland and Estonia. **Your responsibilities** - Here's what you'll be responsible for, day to day _ This role will be the global owner for all compensation and benefits topics including payroll, equity, benefits, and compensation reviews. - **Process ownership** - Designing, implementing and communicating global comp & ben processes including monthly payroll, VSOP allocation, and the annual compensation review - Ensuring payroll runs smoothly across all entities every month - Ensuring processes are compliant and adhere to local laws and best practice, across all entities. - Owning data and reporting on comp & ben, and drawing insights to drive decision making - **Knowledge management** - Ensuring processes and information are readily available to all employees and managers via Moss' internal knowledge base (Confluence). - Being the point of contact for employees on all comp & ben topics. - **Stakeholder management** - Developing strong relationships with Finance, Legal and other relevant stakeholders - Working closely with payroll providers across entities in Germany, UK, Netherlands, Poland and Estonia **About you** - We think you'll need the following _**_experience and qualifications_**_ to succeed in the role:_ - 4+ years of experience in People Experience/HR Operations, preferably in a fast-paced environment - Minimum 2 years of experience working in comp & ben - Experience leading individual contributors is a plus - Very strong knowledge of German payroll processes - Exposure to working in an international environment and comfortable navigating HR operations in multiple markets - Fluent written and spoken English and German skills - Strong Excel skills - Experience with Personio is seen a real benefit for the role - In addition, here are the _**_skills and attributes_**_ we are looking for:_ - **Pragmatic problem solver**: - you ask questions and use data in order to quickly but calmly diagnose problems, gain insights, and determine the right course of action. - **Business oriented -** you understand the needs within a fast growing and moving organisation, and you are able to design strategies and processes to support this. - **Methodical and detail oriented** - you have an eye for detail, are organised and document your work in a structured way - **Resourceful and Resilient** - you are calm under pressure, unfazed when faced with competing priorities, and comfortable seeking out information and answers to things you don't know you are calm under pressure, unfazed when faced with competing priorities, and bounce back quickly and independently from challenges - **Inclusive / Empathic communicator **-** **you are able to collaborate across all departments and you speak calm /clear and expertly; this enables you to sympathise with others, **Our offer** We believe the greatest benefit we can offer you is the opportunity to develop your skills and progress your career - we are committed to helping you on that journey.
