Duties include academic services in the project named above. Research associates may also pursue independent research and further academic qualifications.
The Hub of Computing and Data Science (HCDS) is a competence unit for research and forms the core element for the central support of digitalization and digital transformation in research at Universität Hamburg.
In the project “KIDHHS - KI-basierter Desinformationsindikator für Hamburger Schulen” you will work on issue of identification of disinformation narratives on social media. The core is an LLM-based indication system to enable realtime identification and contextualization. Based on this information, material for schools is developed that aims for increasing digital literacy and resilience. Based on the latest research results, you will ensure systematic utilization of the potentials in real-world settings.
**Profile**:
A university degree in a relevant field.
- experience in natural language processing and data modelling
- knowledge of relational and graph databases such as neo4j, mysql, or mongodb
- experience in one or more of the following areas:
- training and finetuning of large language models
- social media analytics
- design and evaluation of complex software systems
- frontend development for data-centric tools
- building dashboards including network and graph visualizations
- very good command of written and spoken English and German
- strong social and communication skills, initiative, motivation, high sense of responsibility, ability to work in a team and very good organizational skills
