We are offering an exciting opportunity as Document Controller in the growing and exciting offshore wind marked to play an important part in paving the way for Vattenfall and its customers and partners towards a sustainable, green energy and fossil free future
You will become part of our Document Management Department with 25 skilled and enthusiastic colleagues who all support ongoing offshore wind project and sites. We are a diverse department with colleagues located across Northern Europe, and we offer a great extent of freedom to plan and perform your work. You will work independently, but colleagues are always at hand when necessary, and we meet up regularly to share knowledge and offer support where needed.
In the Document Management department we offer dedicated support to all asset projects and operational sites within Business Unit Offshore. Being part of Project Management Support area, we have “here to help” as part of our DNA.
Our short-term goal is to keep all project and sites compliant when it comes to document management. Our long-term goal is to standardize how we across BU Offshore work with document management, so we unify across project and across sites and get bet at delivering dedicated support in an efficient way to the benefit of all.

As our new Document Controller for Operation and Maintenance (O&M) you will deliver support to one or more operating windfarms. Your daily tasks include managing permission set-up, implementing workflow solutions, helping with setting up metadata, views and libraries in SharePoint and moving documentation from SharePoint to SAP DMS. You will also act as Quality Control for incoming documentation, start workflows, and update status on documentation.
More specifically you will:
- Gate keeper of the document control rules, procedures and systems
- Run and manage the DMS for the project
- Ensure that engineering documentation meets the established standards and deadlines
- First line support for document control related issues
- Distribution and follow up of documentation to internal and external stakeholders
- As super user for the IT solutions, train project teams to ensure and enable proper understanding and use of the document control processes and systems
- Take active part in the Document Management network and interface with other departments, and share and implement best practices of Document Management
Location
Work location can be in Kolding in DK, Amsterdam in NL or Hamburg in GER. Some travel can be expected.

Furthermore, you have
- Proven track record within the field of Document Management processes and systems
- Minimum 2 years of relevant work experience or more than 7 years for Senior Document Controller
- Strong English communication skills, both spoken and written
- Knowledge of the wind business and/or operational sites
- Structured, pro-active approach and able to go into the details whilst maintaining the overview
- Stakeholder manager and team player skills
- Advanced user skills of O365 / SharePoint and SAP DMS
