Are you ready to lead a high-performing team and shape the future of the stainless steel industry? **_Outokumpu _**is seeking a dynamic and experienced professional to join us as the **_Head of Technical Sales_** In this critical role, you will drive the efficiency, profitability, and market alignment of our product portfolio, positioning Outokumpu as a thought leader in the industry.

**_The Role:_**

As the **_Head of Technical Sales_**, you will be responsible for leading a team that combines Technical Customer Service and Product Management to achieve high customer satisfaction and unleash the full potential of a sustainable product portfolio. You will spearhead the development and implementation of long-term product strategies, ensuring our offerings are aligned with market trends and customer needs. Your leadership will be instrumental in driving technical market development, optimizing our product program, and fostering innovation through cross-functional projects with R&D, Operations, and Supply Chain Management (SCM).

**_Key Responsibilities:_**
- Lead the development and execution of a long-term product strategy that aligns with our commercial goals and drives profitable business growth.
- Shape the future scope of technical customer service in the stainless steel industry, ensuring best-in-class support that drives customer satisfaction and loyalty.
- Manage the stainless Europe product portfolio, working closely with Operations, SCM, and Sales to optimize offerings and meet market demands.
- Create and execute a technical market development roadmap that opens new sales opportunities and supports long-term growth.
- Drive harmonization, rationalization, and routing of the product program, ensuring it is lean, efficient, and profitable.
- Serve as the primary interface to R&D, driving customer-centric innovation and enhancing product performance through cross-functional collaboration.
- Deliver high-class customer service and technical support, with a strong focus on sustainability and long-term customer relationships.

**_What You’ll Bring:_**
- A technical master’s degree or a comparable education.
- At least 5 years of relevant experience in the stainless steel industry, with a focus on technical functions.
- A minimum of 3 years of leadership experience, with proven skills in leading cross-functional teams and driving results.
- Ability to work independently, set priorities, and develop strategic plans that align with organizational goals.
- Excellent communication and motivational skills, with the ability to convince and influence both internal and external stakeholders.
- Fluency in English (written and verbal) is required; additional knowledge of German or Finnish is an advantage.
