**Your Responsibilities**:

- Set the technical vision for our data architecture and lead the team to build towards it.
- You bring a 'servant-leader' mentality to a team of Data Analysts and Data Engineers, leading by example and getting involved with the team’s day-to-day work.
- Be a champion for data quality, observability and compliance. Educate other teams on their responsibilities and enable them through tooling and processes.
- Empower a data-informed culture by facilitating company-wide data education.

**Your Profile**:

- Demonstrated ability to run a fast-paced data team in a remote-friendly or remote-first setting.
- Proven experience building and optimizing ‘big data’ data pipelines, architectures and data sets.
- You have experience working together with other teams to implement good data management practices and ensure compliance with data regulations.
- You have experience working with
- Data marts, data warehouses and data lakes
- Data modeling of business domains
- Google BigQuery, or other cloud data warehouses (Redshift, Snowflake, Synapse)
- DBT building data stacks
- Tableau, or other BI technologies (Google Data Studio, Power BI, etc.)
- Excellent SQL querying skills.
- You have a leadership mindset and bring prior experience mentoring people, managing, or leading a team.
- Understand the value of cross-functional collaboration, and have experience building relationships with a diverse set of stakeholders.
- Analytical mind with a problem-solving attitude.
- You can tell a story with data, adapting the language to your stakeholders needs and level.
- Written and verbal fluency in English (German is a plus).
