Our client is a prominent debt investment manager with a strong focus on the German and wider European markets. They are looking for a Head of Real Estate Debt Investment Management to lead their Investment Management team. This role is ideal for someone with extensive experience in real estate financing, who thrives in a dynamic, international environment. Ideall based in Munich wit potential tobe based in London with travel

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Lead and develop the Investment Management team, fostering growth and excellence.
- Identify and source new business opportunities, focusing on both the German and broader European markets.
- Build and maintain long-term client relationships, ensuring sustained business growth.
- Lead negotiations for term sheets and contract documentation.
- Prepare and present investment proposals to the Investment Committee (IC).
- Oversee transaction analysis, structuring, risk assessment, and documentation through to closing.
- Collaborate closely with internal teams (such as Asset and Fund Management) and external stakeholders.

**Qualifications and Experience**:

- University degree (Diploma or Master’s) in a legal, economic, or technical field.
- Over 15 years of professional experience in real estate financing.
- Preferably experience from the buy-side, though sell-side/advisory experience is also welcome.
- Proven leadership experience with the ability to manage and guide a team.
- In-depth knowledge of the German and/or European real estate markets.
- A well-established network of real estate clients.
- Flexible, collaborative, and effective in an international and fast-paced environment.
- Fluent in both German and English (written and spoken).
- Strong analytical skills with a solution-oriented approach and a passion for real estate and numbers.
- Independent, detail-oriented work ethic with a focus on precision.
- Confident, team-oriented, and committed to high ethical standards with excellent communication skills.
