Choose the best place for your work - Within the scope of this position, it is possible, in consultation with your manager, to work mobile (within Germany) up to an average volume of 60% of the respective working hours. Your tasks and responsibilities: You will work in publicly funded research project jointly e.g. with TU Dresden and other academic institutions You are involved in setting up a measurement system in a CT scanner You will conduct measurements You will create channel models You will characterize the wireless channel conditions within a quickly rotating CT scanner and assess the suitability for data transfer at up to 200GBit/s To find out more about the specific business, have a look at Computed tomography Your qualifications and experience: You have a master's or diploma degree in electrical engineering or equivalent You have a master's or diploma degree in electrical engineering or equivalent according e.g. to the doctoral regulations of the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computer Engineering at TU Dresden You already have knowledge Office365 applications You have initial experience in operating electronics measuring equipment and in laboratory work You have experience in the evaluation of test results using e.g. Matlab or Python Your attributes and skills: You have a very good command of German and English, both written and spoken You are interested in wireless communication and scientific work You show interest in topics like radio systems, antennas, and high frequencies Would you like to take on a new challenge?
