**Your Role & Impact**:

- Everything we do is connected to law, in that legal is at the heart of what we do: We are working in a highly regulated environment and your impact is vital to our success.
- We offer you a unique opportunity to build and scale an internal legal department from scratch and grow into our general counsel while working in a collaborative and cross-functional setup directly with the founders.
- Support the founders in the development and execution of long-term strategies and support throughout the business for matters that require legal expertise. You will drive your own projects and build out your commercial side while maintaining your transactional skillset.
- Help shape our business in the exploration of new services in financial products as well as in projects around our international expansion, e.g., finding tailor made solutions for different private asset classes in different jurisdictions across Europe.
- Take full ownership of the drafting, review, negotiation and management of a wide range of commercial agreements.
- Ensure and track compliance with national and international regulations including tax filing requirements and financial services regulation (WpHG, GwG, MiFiD II, AML, etc.).
- Support and lead template development activities.
- Coordinate and handle communication with critical stakeholders and external law firms.

**What you should bring to the party**:

- 2nd German State Exam with above-average results.
- You have 3+ years of relevant work experience in a top tier law firm or in-house legal team within a multinational business or tech scale-up.
- You feel comfortable working in an exciting, high-growth and fast-paced company. You are not afraid to branch out and master new practice areas. You are curious to grow.
- You are familiar with or willing to look into fund law, financial regulatory law and tax law.
- You are an absolute team player, no job is too big or too small for you.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in German and English, with the ability to distill complex legal requirements
