The department “Provost´s Office” is supporting the Provost in leading the academic mission of the university and overseeing its research and education activities.

**Your responsibilities**:

- Responsible for the effective organization and functioning of the Provost’s Office
- Provide to the Provost assessments, documentation, and presentations on academic matters
- Secure pertinent information and perform research to inform high-level decision making
- Support of recurring initiatives and events within the Provost´s remit
- Manage coordination of working groups for cross-school projects and with external members
- Contribute to strategic projects in relation to university rankings, research networks, and new initiatives, institutes, or centers, including the Institute for Advanced Studies
- Collaborate closely with other departments, including the Deans, President´s Office, the Deans´ Office, the Strategy Unit, and Laboratory Services
- Act as an internal and external contact person on overarching academic matters
- Representation at external events

**Your qualifications**:

- Higher education degree, ideally PhD degree
- First-rate analytical and project coordination skills
- Experience with complex projects under involvement of different stakeholder groups
- Excellent interpersonal skills with an ability to deal sensitively with people and information
- Knowledge of the higher education sector
- Experience in prioritizing and balancing multiple agendas
- Propensity to work with little direct supervision
- Fluent in English and German
