**Responsibilities**:

- Purchasing contact for program managers/account managers/planning team and key stakeholders.
- Responsible for creating and maintaining purchased part information in the bill of materials (part price, tooling cost, timeline).
- Respond to change requests (design, volume, etc.)
- Ensure timely tooling order of purchased parts to achieve program timeline working closely with commodity buyers
- Initiate tooling kick-off meeting with SDE/SPE to present and forward program specific data/requirements.
- Maintain purchase part information to achieve cost target values.
- Maintain the data through program management tool for purchasing tasks.
- Support gate reviews from advanced planning phase through program closeout.
- Sourcing and selection of assigned commodity suppliers that meet the criteria of quality, delivery and cost to achieve the company's business objectives.
- Meet annual cost savings target and ensure budget targets are met as per business plan
- Independent negotiation and conclusion of contracts under Hanon T&C
- Key supplier management and procurement market analysis

Your Profile
- Completed training with further technical education or studies in the fields of
- Mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, production engineering or industrial engineering
- 3-5 years of commodity/program buyer purchasing experience mainly in the automotive industry preferred
- Commodity knowledge in the field of casting and injection molding preferred
- Good IT skills (MS-Office) as well as good knowledge in the use of SAP
- Distinct market, industry and contract law knowledge
- Strong strategic thinking and negotiation skills
- Hands on mentality, proactive approach
- Organizational and coordination skills
- Fluent in written and spoken German and English
