As "Senior Buyer (M/F/d) Procurement" you bring your advanced purchasing knowledge to bear. Through your expertise and negotiation skills, you actively contribute to the optimization of the procurement of mechanical, alternatively also electromechanical components. You initiate and implement cost reduction measures and actively drive them forward in the material group. In this role, you will be part of a 14-strong team of experts based at the Schweinfurt and Sailauf sites. This position can be filled at the following locations: Bad Homburg, Schweinfurt, St. Wendel, Sailauf or Stollberg/Thalheim. **Your tasks**: - Project and supplier management and imitation of onboarding activities - Contribute to strategy development and implementation of sourcing concepts - Qualify suppliers to ensure product quality - Analyze and evaluate the portfolio (cost analysis, alternative suppliers, locations, production concepts, solutions, benchmarks) - Performing market and supplier analyses with regard to innovations, risks and trends - Negotiating series prices - Negotiating and coordinating framework contracts - Coordinating escalations with suppliers according to the escalation level model - Initiating and participating in make-or-buy analyses **Your profile**: - A technical or commercial degree or comparable education with professional experience and additional qualification - Several years of proven professional experience in purchasing mechanical (turned parts, milled parts, injection molding, die casting, plastics, metals), alternatively electromechanical (sensors, actuators, pumps, higher level assemblies, etc.) components and assemblies, as well as in project management - Relevant market knowledge as well as expertise in contract law and risk management - Very good experience with make-or-buy analyses and cost management - Very good experience with make-or-buy analyses.) components and assemblies, as well as in project management - Relevant market knowledge as well as expertise on contract law and risk management - Very good experience with make or buy analyses, cost structure analyses and target costing - A high degree of personal responsibility, cooperation and negotiation skills - Moderation and presentation skills - Fluency in written and spoken German and English - Willingness to travel
