Communications Specialist

At Evotec’s headquarters in Hamburg, Germany, the _Strategic Marketing_ department is seeking a highly motivated and dedicated
- Communications Specialist (all genders)
- Full-time and permanent
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain content for the company intranet, including providing technical support for the platform
- Develop initiatives to increase intranet usage and implement a monitoring system for content quality and relevance
- Create, edit, and distribute content for various communication channels and platforms to ensure consistent messaging
- Support internal communication efforts to enhance employee engagement, including organizing site meetings and global Management Board events
- Ensure compliance with corporate design standards by reviewing and editing presentations, posters, and other materials in collaboration with internal teams and external agencies
- Assist in the planning, execution, and tracking of internal and external communication strategies and projects
- Monitor media coverage, update databases and maintain accurate media and contact lists
- Provide administrative support to the communications team and other departments as needed
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or a related field
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English and German, with attention to detail
- Proficiency in content creation and management tools, including intranet platforms and design software
- Ability to grasp things quickly, combined with a high level of initiative and hands-on mentality
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining high-quality standards
- Familiarity with multimedia production and content creation would be ideal
- Experience in organizing events and coordinating cross-functional teams
- Analytical skills to monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of communication strategies
- Strong organizational and administrative abilities
- Excellent MS Office skills (PowerPoint, Word, Excel and Outlook)
- This role requires a proactive and collaborative individual who can support communication initiatives to foster engagement and ensure effective messaging across the company
