**Your responsibilities**:

- Develop and implement an integrated strategic communications and events plan globally to advance brand identity; broaden global awareness of the University priorities; and increase the visibility of its programs across key stakeholder audiences in target countries
- Identify challenges and emerging issues faced by the organization. Work with leadership team and staff to recognize internal and external communications opportunities and solutions, and define and execute appropriate strategies to support them
- Oversee development of all print communications including the annual report, marketing collateral materials and digital communications including website and new media
- Actively engage, cultivate, and manage press relationships to ensure coverage surrounding the University programs, special events, public announcements, and other projects
- Develop and implement PR and marketing strategy for better alumni involvement in university life, the better connection of alumni with each other, the university and SIT ecosystem network, and better recognition and visibility of alumni online
- Develop alumni events strategy with its further organization and implementation - global alumni mentor program, social media engagement, organization homecoming, reunions events, etc.
- Oversee the day-to-day activities of the communications and events functions including budgeting, planning and staff development
- Recruit and manage a communications and events and alumni team to support the development and execution of the communications strategy

**Your qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s degree in journalism, communications, or related field is required, an advanced degree is preferred
- Minimum 10 years of experience of managing a similar function globally in a senior management role either in-house or with an agency
- Experience in managing a global multicultural team; experience in managing outsourcing specialists and various vendors
- Self-reliant, good problem solver, results oriented
- Exceptional written, oral, interpersonal and presentation skills and the ability to effectively interface with senior management, EB and staff
- Experience in building, mentoring, and coaching a team of communications specialists
- Very good written and spoken English
- Superior management skills; ability to engage direct and indirect reports and peers
- Ability to make decisions in a changing environment and anticipate future needs
