**Your responsibilities**
- Provide legal support to Uniper's business units when managing the day-to-day operation of our asset fleet including power plants, gas storages and other infrastructure as well as to the support functions within the Uniper Group in the area of general civil-, contract
- and commercial law
- Collaborate closely with technical and commercial departments within the Uniper Group and provide legal advice on ongoing relations with customers and suppliers. This includes drafting, negotiating, and advising on contracts including developing standard contract templates
- Provide legal support on real estate matters and for Uniper’s central Procurement regarding the general terms and conditions as well as the tendering processes and negotiations with the suppliers and customers
- Manage litigation proceedings including selecting and steering external legal counsel, if required.
- Offer legal training for Uniper’s business and support functions
- Coordinate with all members of the business (across the globe) in helping to resolve the day-to-day legal issues of the global energy business and Uniper´s energy transition journey

**Your profile**
- Qualified German lawyer with strong academic credentials
- Experienced in legal work, in particular drafting of and negotiating various types of contracts
- Fluent both in German and English language
- Relevant experience, either in-house or private practice
- Good understanding of commercial, technical and political contexts with commercial focus and clear solution orientation
- Ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously in a dynamic, fast-paced, global environment
- Strong attention to detail, analytical skills, judgment, enthusiasm and interpersonal skills
- Ability to take the lead and work independently on any responsibilities within the job description
- Focused, well organised, team orientated and adaptable personality
- Collaborative way of working
- Credible and trusted lawyer who is able to build strong relationships at all levels of the business and with all internal and external stakeholders, acting as an objective and impartial adviser
