**Legal - Remote/Düsseldorf, Germany - Full Time**:

As a reflection of our continued growth, we are looking for a Legal Counsel with a technology transaction background reporting to the EMEA Lead based in London.

**Your Impact**:
You will have an amazing opportunity to play a key role in supporting the company’s rapid growth both at a European level as well as globally as well as developing Centric Software’s legal policies and practices.

In addition to leading the legal department’s transactional business for the EMEAR region, you will be contributing to our ambitious objective to transform ourselves to the “legal department of the future”.

As such you will have the opportunity to contribute to, lead or implement initiatives on a global scale that are aimed at implementing innovative legal processes (whether through automation or analytics) which will transform the way we provide legal services.

**Your day to day**:

- Your focus will be to provide support for Centric Software’s rapidly growing sales team in EMEAR (and globally as needed) by structuring, drafting and negotiate License, Cloud/SaaS Agreements, Statements of Work and other technology transactions pertaining to Centric Software’s commercial business,
- Advising on all aspects relating to commercial disputes and contribute to their resolution,
- Contributing to the development and roll-out of legal enablement for the EMEAR region
- Collaborating as a trusted legal advisor to cross-functional stakeholders: Marketing, Finance, R&D, etc, on topics such as marketing activities and other procurement agreements;
- Contributing to global initiatives, including presenting to the company’s executives

**Your Experience, Skills and Qualifications**:

- You are a European qualified lawyer with at least 5-7 years of IT/IP experience gained as in-house legal counsel and/or in private practice in an international setting
- You have extensive experience with complex contracts and transactions in fast paced technology driven companies, with experience in a SaaS and Cloud transactions
- You are able to juggle multiple projects simultaneously, and meet demanding deadlines without sacrificing quality in a multi-cultural, diverse and high-paced environment
- You possess a pragmatic and business-oriented approach to problem solving and the flexibility to adapt and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, ability to listen, and you don’t take yourself too seriously
- Excellent written & oral communication skills in English and any other European language. Ability to work in German is a strong advantage.
