Your new job includes
- Become a part of the team responsible for processing import customs clearances. As Customs Coordinator (M/F/d) you will- ensure communication with the supervising customs offices
- finalize transit procedures, monitor goods and deadlines in temporary custody and create work numbers
- process import notifications from service providers and check and monitor import duty notifications
- carry out import clearance of goods for free circulation, customs warehousing procedures and returns clearance
- supervise the monitoring of legal requirements
- take over the maintenance and monitoring of customs-relevant master data
What you should bring along
- a completed commercial apprenticeship
- several years of professional experience in trade/foreign trade, ideally in customs
- a strong knowledge of customs processes and handling (EMCS, ATLAS, NCTS, electronic customs tariff, tax and bonded warehouses)
- very good written and spoken English, other foreign languages would be an advantage
- good knowledge of MS Office and ideally SAP ERP and GTS
- a confident and assertive way of acting
- a high level of social competence, which makes it easier for you to deal with different stakeholders
