We are actively seeking a talented and experienced Head of Project Management to oversee and manage a wide variety of large-scale development programmes/projects, for instance: rollout of global enterprise solutions (e.g., CRM systems), steering the development of Data Platform Projects
(CDP, Data Warehouse, Data Lakes, Data Narts), as well as the migration of data from dated systems into newly designed architecture landscapes.
Additionally, she/he will be working on process improvements, implementing best practices throughout their areas of responsibility in regards to how projects are initiated, executed and closed/maintained.
This position is located in Munich or in its vicinity, to allow for regular visits to the Headquarter Office of Plaion in Munich (Hybrid Model).

**Your Tasks**:

- The Head of Projects Management’s mission is to lead internal teams, setting and ensuring quality standards, and delivering on the operational imperatives
- The Head of Projects Management identifies and implements process improvements to ensure projects are delivered according to their requirements and specifications within the established constraints of budget, time, scope, and quality
- The Head of Projects Management ensures that the team works collaboratively and cohesively with internal and external teams and participates in departmental and company-wide strategic and operational planning forums
- The Head of Project Management ensures the plan of action/tasks for the team flexible, prioritised, continuous, relevant and accurate based on the priorities set by the business
- The Head of Project Management owns full ownership for direct reports of an internal team including holiday signoff, appraisal processes and performance management (setting project objectives and KPIs based on technical competences)
- The Head of Project Management supports the team in managing projects with top-down oversight throughout the entire execution to ensure success as defined by adherence to their respective requirements and delivered within the established constraints of scope, budget, quality and time.
- The Head of Projects Management communicate proactively with all involved team members to provide encouragement, identify problems, create solutions, and implement efficient improvements

**Your Profile**:
**Required**:

- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, project management or related field, or equivalent work experience
- Strong understanding of project management
- Experienced in modelling and rolling out process improvements
- Experience in working with software development teams
- Experienced in working in agile/adaptive project management framework
- Experienced in steering large-scale and transformative software development programmes, involving multiple development teams
- Excellent communication skills in English and German, both in written and verbal
- Minimum 7 years management experience in the IT field, including software development work and interactions with stakeholders
- Experienced in using various scheduling tools (e.g., MS Project, MS Excel, Jira)
- Experienced in scheduling software development teams with Jira
- Excellent leadership skills and experienced being a line manager, responsible of carrier development and mentoring of internal teams

**Pluses**:

- PMP Certification
- Experienced leading the development of enterprise solutions (CRM, PiM, Webshops)
- Experienced leading Data Platform development projects (Date Warehouses, Data Marts, Data Lakes)
