We are looking for a new enthusiastic **Head of Brand Management**, who is excited to bring our Own Brands to a new level and drive their successful development. You will report directly to Eva-Maria Rudolph, our Director of Own Brands Food and plan, manage and control selected Own Brand and their products during the product life cycle from market maturity to market exit.
Your Brand Management experience and creative approach will help you achieve the exciting goals we have planned for our future business. Your passion and dedication to brands and pets will make your job feel like a pleasure.
**Your responsibilities are**:
- Champion the brand "C_oncept for Life" - _Development of a brand strategy, positioning and identity in accordance with the overall Own Brands Food Strategy
- Drive Brand decisions based on brand, market, consumer and profitability analysis
- Manage projects, set budgets, coordinate resources, create project timelines, and manage internal project communication to deliver impactful, on-brand concepts & campaigns.
- Create, steer, and consolidate brand management plans as well as marketing measures and ensure their implementation for those brands in all European markets
- Identification and prioritization of (strategic) brand projects to increase sales and ensure their implementation, on a brand level
- Close cooperation and alignment with colleagues in Product Management, Purchasing, Product development, Sales & Marketing and Pricing
- Build a team of enthusiastic and ambitious brand managers, driving their growth and development: Team leadership and development as well as professional coaching, disciplinary and professional leadership of Senior, Professional and Junior brand managers
**Qualifications**:
- 6-8 years of brand management experience, ideally gained in FMCG, retail or pet food
- 3+ years in a leadership position - Inspiring and effective leadership skills, providing vision and direction to the Brand team
- Experience in the independent (own) brand strategy development and execution
- Experience in project management - able to break down high-level brand strategy into comprehensive, scoped, and resourced implementation plans to ensure resource availability, efficiency, and scalability
- Profound analytical skills combined with a passion for numbers and large data volumes
- Outstanding communication skills with a collaborative mindset
- Very good command of written and spoken English, further foreign language skills are an advantage
- Pragmatic, positive mindset, creative and taking the initiative to make things happen
