Purpose of the positionAs Group Packaging Expert Corrugated, you will play a key role in shaping the future of corrugated packaging across the Intersnack Group. In this expert position, you will be responsible for the development and implementation of innovative, efficient, and sustainable packaging solutions – from concept through to industrial application – serving our diverse brands and markets across Europe and supporting global initiatives.You will be part of our international team based in Düsseldorf, a strategic location at the heart of the Intersnack Group.ResponsibilitiesDevelop and optimize corrugated packaging concepts with a focus on sustainability, cost-efficiency and qualityManage international packaging projects from initial idea to full-scale implementationStandarize and harmonize corrugated packaging portfolio across all markets and sitesCollaborate with internal stakeholders including Sustainability, Procurement, Marketing, Quality, Engineering and local packaging expertsIdentify packaging risks, deliver expert assessments, and provide technical documentation and best practicesMonitor industry trends and actively contribute to the packaging strategy and innovationPrepare management reports and drive continuous improvement in packaging standards across the GroupAs a Global expert in corrugated, you own the development of the category at Group levelJob RequirementsSeveral years of technical experience in corrugated packaging, ideally within the FMCG or food industryExperience managing international packaging projects and working in cross-functional environmentsDegree in Packaging Technology, Paper Engineering, or a comparable technical field are a plusProactive mindset, strong communication skills, and a structured, solution-oriented approachFluent in English; German language skills are a plusWillingness to travel internationally up to 50%About usIntersnack has become one of Europe’s leading savory snacks producers by ‘creating happy snacking moments’ in people’s lives.
