Our commitment to excellence in creative arts education sets us apart, providing students with the knowledge, skills, and opportunities they need to succeed in their chosen fields.About the Role​As Head of Marketing at BIMM University Berlin, you will lead and deliver the campus’s marketing and communications strategy, ensuring we achieve student recruitment objectives, raise brand awareness, and strengthen our position as a leading creative education provider in Germany and Europe.This role combines strategic planning with hands-on delivery, giving you the opportunity to shape and execute campaigns across digital, social, print, and events. You will work closely with our central Marketing, Recruitment & Admissions (MRA) team while leading local marketing activity, managing a small team, and collaborating with freelancers and agencies.​What You’ll Do:​•Lead the development and execution of BIMM Berlin’s annual marketing plan to achieve recruitment and brand objectives.•Act as brand guardian, ensuring all communications align with BIMM University’s identity and values.•Collaborate with central marketing teams to ensure campaign consistency, effectiveness, and creative excellence.•Manage and develop a Senior International Marketing Officer, coordinating external freelancers or agencies as needed.•Plan and deliver integrated marketing campaigns across digital, print, social, and events to attract prospective students from Germany, Europe, and beyond.•Oversee local advertising and paid media activity, optimising spend and performance in partnership with central teams.•Promote open days, auditions, and events in collaboration with Admissions and Student Recruitment.•Use analytics and data insights to measure performance and inform continuous improvement.•Oversee local content creation, including website updates, student stories, video content, photography, and PR.•Manage social media channels, ensuring a consistent tone of voice and engagement strategy.•Coordinate translation and localisation of materials for the German market, ensuring cultural relevance and accuracy.•Work with Heads of Schools and academic staff to promote achievements, events, and new course launches.•Support international recruitment activity for Berlin in coordination with the International Recruitment team.•Contribute to the wider Marketing leadership community at BIMM University, sharing best practice and representing Berlin’s perspective.•Manage the Berlin marketing budget effectively, ensuring strong ROI.•Report regularly on marketing performance and student recruitment trends.​What You’ll Bring:​•Degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.•Proven experience in marketing leadership within higher education, creative industries, or a related sector.•Strong ability to plan and deliver multi-channel marketing campaigns.•Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.•Deep understanding of digital and social media marketing.•Experience managing websites and content management systems.•Confident budget management and reporting capability.•Fluency in German and English, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
