Let's connect: If you want to experience how things are done in the Group Finance and Accounting, Reinsurance Accounting team at our headquarters in Hannover / Germany, join us on a temporary basis for 12 months, commencing as soon as possible as a Reinsurance Accountant Property and Casualty Accounting.You can look forward to Checking, processing and posting reinsurance statements of account including assuring completion Processing incoming and outgoing payments Initiating the creation of new bank details Claims processing including sanction screening and consultation with claims specialists Quarterly closing work Correspondence with internal interfaces and external customers Participation in working groups and projects Maintain quality and consistency of process standards and operational controls You come equipped with Degree in business administration and/or comparable training Initial experience in accounting (e.g. from the areas of insurance, banking, taxes) Understanding of different accounting principles, e.g. HGB and IFRS Basic understanding of obligatory and facultative reinsurance contractual forms of advantage German and English at a conversational level, knowledge of Spanish desirable SAP skills of advantage Well-versed in Microsoft Office, especially Excel Strong understanding of financial interrelationships Independent and structured way of working with high quality standards Strong communication skills and enjoy working together and engaging in constructive dialogue in interdisciplinary teams Willingness and curiosity to familiarise yourself with new IT technologies and tools You may not meet every requirement listed in the job description.
