Let's connect: If you want to experience how things are done in the Property & Casualty Claims team at our headquarters in Hannover / Germany, join us on a permanent basis, commencing at the earliest possible date as a Claims Counsel.You can look forward to Handling and evaluating international Property and/or Casualty reinsurance claims in line with internal guidelines and legal frameworks Reviewing coverage, assessing liability, and determining appropriate settlements Collaborating closely with colleagues across Claims, Underwriting, Accounting, and other functions Maintaining accurate documentation and supporting reporting activities Contributing to process improvements and the development of team standards Fostering a strong team culture through open communication and knowledge sharing You come equipped with Degree in Law, Business Administration, Insurance, or a related field Several years of professional experience handling Property and/or Casualty claims, ideally within a (re)insurer environment Experience working in an international context, confident in collaborating across different locations and cultures Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make sound and well-justified decisions Strong communication skills, with business-fluent English and conversational German; additional languages are a plus Team-oriented mindset, combined with a willingness to travel occasionally You may not meet every requirement listed in the job description.
