Let's connect: If you want to experience how things are done in the Group Finance and Accounting, Reinsurance Accounting team at our headquarters in Hannover / Germany, join us on a temporary basis for 24 months, commencing as soon as possible as a Reinsurance Accountant Obligatory Reinsurance Business.You can look forward to Processing statements of account and technical scrutiny Processing losses in obligatory inward business from France, the Benelux countries and Greece Quarterly closing activities Processing incoming and outgoing payments Correspondence and reconciliation with internal interfaces and external customers Electronic archiving of documents Participation in working groups and projects with a focus on digitisation You come equipped with Initial experience in accounting (e.g. from the areas of insurance, banking, taxes) Degree in business administration or commercial training Knowledge of reinsurance treaty types and forms is an advantage Curious to get to know various IT landscapes Well-versed in Microsoft Office, especially Excel SAP skills are an advantage Independent user skills in German and English, knowledge of French desirable Very good numerical reasoning and analytical mindset as well as an independent and self-reliant style of working An assured and service-minded approach to internal and external customers You may not meet every requirement listed in the job description.
