Your role As a Market Infrastructure Expert (functional profile) you will:drive engagement and collaboration with stakeholders, cross-functional teams or providers to identify requirements, align priorities and co-create innovative solutions;steer the development of a robust and comprehensive back-end design for the digital euro service platform in collaboration with the project team;lead the establishment and maintenance of product backlogs, business flows and functional/technical implementation specifications to shape and drive the successful development of the digital euro.The position offers you excellent opportunities to play a key role in the delivery of a digital form of central bank money designed to be a new, universally accepted digital payment method that complements physical cash. You will be part of a multicultural team that strives for continuous innovation to make a positive impact on the lives of European citizens. Qualifications, experience and skills Essential: a master’s degree or equivalent in business administration, computer science, economics, engineering, information systems, project management or another relevant field (see for details on degree equivalences);in addition to the above, four or more years’ professional experience in product management in the field of payments implementation projects or large-scale financial infrastructure (e.g. bank systems, clearing and settlement platforms or payment schemes); a track record in either (i) defining backlogs of requirements for the development of payment solutions or infrastructure or (ii) translating high-level business requirements into business flows, implementation guidelines or functional/technical specifications;a sound understanding of payment solutions or infrastructure;proven analytical skills and experience in drafting clear and concise product management documentation;an advanced (C1) command of English and an intermediate (B1) command of at least one other official language of the EU, according to the .Desired: experience in dealing with providers of payment solutions or infrastructure, including in (but not limited to) the context of payment fraud detection or offline payments;experience in cross-functional, multidisciplinary projects in an agile environment.You engage collaboratively with others. You pursue team goals and learn willingly from other people’s diverse perspectives. You signal any need for change by explaining it and proposing alternative solutions. You analyse complex information effectively and can evaluate different views to arrive at solutions. You know and anticipate stakeholder needs.You are motivated to contribute to the ECB’s mission, to serve the citizens of the EU as a member of a public institution and to work with colleagues from all over Europe.
