Senior Mexican Spanish Language Specialist – Blizzard® Games

We're looking for a Senior Mexican Spanish Language Specialist to join our in-house team, supporting a leading AAA game client – Blizzard® Entertainment. This is a senior-level role with a strong focus on linguistic quality, creative direction, and collaboration. You'll be shaping the voice and consistency of localized content across platforms, supporting both our internal teams and our client’s stakeholders. If you've worked on Blizzard IPs and love shaping how players experience games worldwide, we'd love to hear from you   YOUR ROLEOversee the translation, editing, and proofreading of Mexican Spanish video game content from English into Mexican Spanish.Collaborate directly with client-side stakeholders to align tone, style, and terminology.Drive creative language decisions across a variety of game genres and platforms.Develop and maintain style guides, glossaries, and linguistic resources.Review key assets, manage linguistic escalations, and resolve queries.Work cross-functionally with internal teams (Audio, LQA, Project Managers) to ensure linguistic consistency and quality.Train and mentor both internal and external translators on best practices and workflows.Continuously seek opportunities to optimize localization processes.Your profileFamiliarity with Blizzard® projects (such as World of Warcraft, Hearthstone, Overwatch and Diablo) is important. Please specify in your CV which projects you have worked on or highlight any relevant experience.Native-level Mexican Spanish and fluency in English (written and spoken) are a must.Strong communication skills and confidence in client calls and team meetings.Minimum 4 years of experience editing video game content.Solid experience with CAT tools and project management platforms (e.g. memoQ, Jira, MS Office), experience with other tools is a plus.Background in linguistics, translation, or language studies.Detail-oriented, proactive, and able to work effectively under pressure.A passion for gaming and a belief in the power of language to enhance player immersion.Ability to work in Central European Time (CET).Why us?The heart of our success lies in our powerful, diverse team, strengthened by their care and understanding for each other.
