Job DescriptionYou will drive the development of cutting-edge IoT and connectivity solutions for modern cell production systems. As part of an agile team, you will take technical responsibility for the Cell Factory Software, focusing on networking, cloud technologies, and seamless system integration. Acting as the link between the software architect and developers, you will translate concepts into scalable code while exploring new technologies. Collaborating with interdisciplinary and international teams, you will help shape the future of cell production.You will provide technical guidance on connectivity software development and coach team members on technical challenges.You will develop and maintain APIs, protocols, and data formats to ensure seamless integration between software systems.You will write clean, maintainable, and scalable C++ code while exploring and adopting new technologies.Furthermore, you will improve and create new functionalities for connectivity devices, ensuring synchronization of internal and external systems.You will collaborate with interdisciplinary and international teams, including IT, Quality, Service, and Marketing. QualificationsYou have successfully finished your academic education in Computer Science, Natural Science (e.g. Bioinformatics, Mathematics, Physics, Statistics) or similar.You have at least three years of professional experience in a role similar to the one described above. You have an excellent understanding of service-oriented software development and experience in developing software for connectivity, integration or synchronization.Furthermore, you need to have exceptionally good knowledge of modern C++ (preferably C++ or newer) and be interested in continuing to develop in this language. Alternatively, experience in Java development is also acceptable.Ideally, you have knowledge of the following technologies: Typescript, Go, message-based systems like NATS or MQTT, cloud technologies and container orchestration platforms like Kubernetes. However, we are also open to candidates who are eager to learn these technologies.You have excellent problem solving and communication skills, fluent English (at least on level B2), German would be a plus. Your agile mindset enables you to break down requirements and design them into manageable increments and pieces.
