Financial Analyst/Manager

YOUR TASKSSupport day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger entries, and payment runs.Prepare, process, and monitor incoming and outgoing invoices in cooperation with our tax advisor.Support monthly and annual financial closing activities according to HGB.Own contract management, including document handling, term tracking, renewal monitoring, and internalcompliance.Oversee supplier management, including onboarding, master data maintenance, SLA tracking, and price monitoring.Maintain and reconcile our inventory / asset base (hardware, equipment, software licenses).Manage cost center allocations, Spendesk approval flows, and overall process improvements in Finance.Support and contribute to budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow planning.Support in building and maintaining financial reports, KPIs, and dashboards for management and board-level communication.Conduct ad-hoc financial analyses, business cases, and cost/ROI assessments.Collaborate closely with Operations, GTM, Engineering, Leadership, and external partners to ensure smooth financial operations.YOUR PROFILE2–5 years of experience in Finance, Accounting, Controlling, or FP&A — ideally in a B2B software or SaaS startup. A consulting background with strong numerical exposure is also beneficial.Solid understanding of Excel modeling and financial analysis.Strong analytical mindset with the ability to turn data into actionable insights.Confident in working cross-functionally and communicating with internal and external stakeholders.Proficient in MS Office (especially Excel) and digital finance tools.Business fluency in English and German.Strong interest in AI tools, preferably applied to Finance.HELPFUL ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONSHands-on experience with DATEV, Spendesk, Salesforce, or similar tools.Exposure to SaaS revenue models, subscription metrics, and revenue recognition.Experience with process automation or optimizing finance workflows.Understanding of software cost structures and SaaS KPIs.About usWe believe robots should do the work humans should not—dull, dirty, and dangerous tasks.
