Description :Details of the role and how it fits into the teamProject Finance (PF) is an investment desk focused on lending to asset owners in its core industries and forms an integral part of the Trade Finance and Lending (TFL) platform within the Corporate Bank.PF focuses on the product suite with non-recourse/limited recourse senior secured financings, encompassing the origination, structuring, arranging and distribution of senior project finance debt products – both strategic and tactical. The team serves a diverse client base, including corporates, financial institutions, institutional investors and public sector entities across the infrastructure and energy sectors, with a strong emphasis on the energy transition.PF collaborates closely with the various desks within TFL and Deutsche Bank, leveraging multiple origination sources and distribution channels. The team currently operates from Frankfurt, London and Singapore, with plans to expand to New York in the near future.The team is seeking a candidate specializing in project finance to strengthen the Frankfurt PF platform.Your key responsibilitiesCollaborate closely with colleagues across Structuring, Syndication, and Coverage teams within a dynamic and fast-paced environment, with a primary focus on project finance in the infrastructure and energy sectors.Support senior PF team members in evaluating new transaction opportunities sourced through various channels, with emphasis on risk assessment and profitability analysis.Assist in structuring and executing project finance transactions across diverse infrastructure and energy sectors, utilizing a range of financing products and solutions.Conduct in-depth due diligence and risk analysis, including the building and analyzing complex cash flow models to support deal structuring, and prepare detailed credit memoranda for internal approvals.Prepare and develop marketing materials and presentations used to originate new transactions.Maintain internal monitoring and risk reports, and support the coordination of internal reporting and approval processes.Your skills and experiencesMinimum 2–3 years of relevant experience in project finance, particularly in financing of private sector infrastructure and energy projects, at a project finance platform or similar setting.Strong analytical skills and creative approach to problem-solving; high proficiency in numeracy, accuracy, and financial modelling experience is essential.Excellent communication and client-facing abilities, with a collaborative mindset and the ability to work effectively within a team and across departments at Deutsche Bank.Well organized, and display a strong aptitude for project management and have an attention to detail.Initial experience with term sheets, transaction and credit documents is beneficial.What we offerWe provide you with a comprehensive portfolio of benefits and offerings to support both, your private and professional needs.Emotionally and mentally balancedA positive mind helps us master the challenges of everyday life – both professionally and privately.
