For permanent employment OHB System AG in Bremen  is looking for aSpacecraft Database Engineer Software (m/f/d) To operate our satellites, a lot of information is needed on ground ( how to command the satellites or how to interpret the data coming from the satellite during integration & flight). The database team develops and maintains the satellite reference database (SRDB) and manages its data. Being a part of the team allows to you to get a thorough understanding of the architecture, interfaces, and operations of our spacecrafts. Your Tasks Collaborate with the different engineering teams and customers to organize, collect, and process the commanding, telemetry and engineering data for the satelliteManage the release process of our productsSupport the improvement and development of our software tools and engineering workflowsPlan and schedule product releases according to stakeholder agreementsParticipate in official project reviews with ESA and customersCreate and maintain the documentation of our database productsAssist the satellite and operations teams using the SRDB and its productsPopulate the SRDB with the collected dataTrack the validation of database products and outputs Your QualificationsYou have a degree in Computer Science, Physics, Aerospace Engineering, or a comparable qualificationExperience in a similar role is an advantageYou are familiar with SQL, PL/SQL, Java, or similar technologiesKnowledge of the relevant ECSS standards is an advantageYou are a fast learner with a good technical understandingYou are fluent in written and spoken EnglishYou have good communication and negotiation skillsYou work proactively, accurately, and independently We offer Work Life Balance: Flexible working hours, sabbatical, 30 days vacation & special leave days Mobile Work: Hybrid work & mobile work abroad Structured on-boarding process (incl.
