You will join a friendly and supportive team, working together to bring the latest in cloud computing technologies to our customers, including: government agencies, state-owned companies, educational institutions, healthcare and non-profit organisations. Our Public Sector teams help customers build a deeper understanding of cloud technology and application architectures, so they can benefit from everything cloud technology has to offer.Key job responsibilitiesAs AWS Solutions Architect, you will have ownership of the technical relationship with customers, making recommendations on security, cost, performance, reliability, operational efficiency and best-practice architectures. Internally, you will be an advocate acting on behalf of the customer to help drive continual improvements to AWS services, sharing their needs and wants to inform the roadmap of AWS features and services. You will also help shape the future of the Solutions Architecture organisation by helping to hire, coach and mentor others, and find opportunities to improve the way we work.In this role, your creativity will link technology to tangible solutions, with the opportunity to define and invent cloud-native reference architectures with the worldwide AWS Solutions Architect community. BASIC QUALIFICATIONS- Proficient German language skills both written and verbal are required (minimum C1 level)- Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics or equivalent- 10+ years of IT development or implementation/consulting in the software or Internet industries experience- 4+ years of specific technology domain areas (e.g. software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics) experience- 2+ years of design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructures experiencePREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS- Experience working within software development or Internet-related industries- Experience migrating or transforming legacy customer solutions to the cloud- Experience working with AWS technologies from a DevOps perspective
