We are excited to be investing in a pre-sale talent, based in Germany, to be the first of our Solution Architects to join our growing Enterprise sales team here in Germany. Who are you? We are looking for a seasoned Solutions Architect with a passion for presales, and understands the value of what technology can do for our customers in both the public and private sector. You are someone that can bring diversity of thought to the team and join us in our mission to help customers accelerate business transformation with simple, powerful, and secure solutions. You will love performing technical presale activities in support of our products, you will be an expert in helping sales qualify and discover customer problems that match with all our offerings, you will be passionate about showing the product, unleashing its potential and be a partner to help support our customers and channel partners.

**Responsibilities**:

- Key Member of the Enterprise Sales team performing pre-sales support activities in support of the company's products.
- Conducts online and on-site product demonstrations and webinars.
- Answers technical questions from potential customers and channel partners.
- Engages in discovery sessions with customers to uncover requirements, pain-points etc.
- Articulates the value proposition of the solution in the context of the customers requirements.
- Maintains and continually upgrades technical understanding of products and provides training to other team members where necessary.
- Advise Inside and Outside Sales in all technical pre-sales support functions, providing technical advice to sales and Partners on the best solutions to fit customer requirements.
- Performs pre-sales technical support duties, including product configuration and troubleshooting of customer issues.
- Convey customer feedback including feature requests and product issues to Product Management and Development teams.
- Presents at partner events and trade shows
- Travel to partner sites for training
- Be on-site with key customers in the region

Qualifications:

- A strong mix of technical ability, sales and customer interaction skills.
- Fluent German and English speaker.
- Exceptional oral and written communication and presentation skills are critical.
- Substantial experience in one or more of the following: Observability, ITSM, Database Management, Networking & Security Solutions.
- We like to see development learning so if you have any certifications/accreditations that are relevant we would love to see them.
- Experience with cloud-based technologies, AWS and Azure IaaS, PaaS, SaaS is a plus
