You’ll act as a connector across teams, aligning regional and global goals, managing cross-functional projects, and ensuring that business decisions are backed by solid data and clear business cases. This is a high-visibility role with exposure to senior stakeholders across Operations, Product, Support, and Strategy, giving you the opportunity to directly influence SumUp’s global operating model and customer experience.What you’ll doSupport leadership in translating the Global Operations strategy into actionable roadmaps, clear objectives, and measurable outcomes that improve efficiency, scalability, and merchant experience.Manage end-to-end delivery of global initiatives — from scoping and planning to execution, tracking, and measurement — ensuring alignment across Product, Support, and Regional Operations teams.Build and present robust business cases and financial models to evaluate new initiatives, balancing merchant impact, feasibility, and ROI.Analyse operational data to track impact, identify trends, and provide actionable recommendations to leadership through structured reporting and executive-ready presentations.Ensure global priorities are consistently and effectively implemented across regions, acting as a strategic connector between HQ and local markets.Partner with diverse stakeholders—including Product, CSM, Support, and Regional Ops—to strengthen strategic alignment and accelerate impact.Contribute to capacity planning and process improvements that enhance operational efficiency and sustainability. You’ll be great for this role ifYou have 2–4 years of experience in strategy, consulting, operations, financial planning, or program management, ideally in a high-growth tech, fintech, or startup environment.You have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate data into actionable insights and business recommendations.You’re comfortable driving cross-functional initiatives without direct authority, influencing stakeholders, and aligning diverse teams around shared objectives.You can balance strategic thinking with hands-on delivery, thriving in fast-paced environments with competing priorities.You’re skilled in building business cases, performing ROI analyses, and managing complex projects end-to-end.You’re a clear communicator capable of crafting concise narratives, reports, and presentations that influence senior stakeholders.You bring a structured, detail-oriented approach and are motivated by impact, curiosity, and continuous improvement.
