Sustainability Strategy

**What you’ll do**:
As Sustainability Strategy & Operations (Associate / Specialist) (f/m/d), you will be part of the team, advising the General Manager and leadership team of SAP’s Sustainability business on key decisions and support the smooth execution towards the defined goals and budgets. The team reports into the General Manager, Sustainability. As an individual contributor in a small but highly dynamic team, you will shape the strategy of SAP’s Sustainability unit, generate analyses, and provide insights as the basis for strategic recommendations, as well as drive strategy into execution through strategic initiatives, business planning and operations.

Main responsibilities:

- Drive all aspects of problem-solving and strategy formulation, including: identifying issues, forming hypotheses, designing and conducting analyses, synthesizing conclusions in strategic initiatives and thought leadership
- Drive strategy to execution through strategic initiatives
- support setting direction for strategic partnerships and inorganic plays
- Ensure best-in-class processes and operating model
- Support GM for discussions with strategic partners, customers, and SAP leadership
- Drive unit’s thought leadership and support strategic messaging and communications

**What you bring**:

- Strategic understanding of the software industry (and market for Sustainability solutions)
- Passion for Sustainability & helping our customers reach their Sustainability targets
- Ability to undertake sophisticated analyses and formulate strategic recommendations
- Effective written, verbal, presentation, and interpersonal skills at executive to project team levels
- Masters degree or equivalent ideally in (Computer) Science, Engineering or Business Administration
- First experience in management consulting or strategic product management, ideally in combination with hands-on operations experience, is a plus
- Fluent knowledge of English is required, knowledge of German is a plus
- Self-motivated and enthusiastic with the ability to work with speed and accuracy
