They will also be responsible for developing and progressing key customer relationships and operational partnerships necessary to drive and support an atmosphere of continuous improvement and operational excellence as it relates to inventory control management.Ensure customer inventory accuracy is monitored and reported timely to site leadershipMaximize the performance of the site inventory processes and system to ensure: Care, custody, and control of the customer's inventoryAccuracy (to floor and customer book)Proper utilization of information technology systemsProvide required documentation in support of compliance requirementsManage the planning and execution of proactive and reactive cycle counts in compliance with the contractual service level agreementDevelop, implement, and validate procedures, controls and systems that prevent, detect and correct errors in inventory transactions and balancesApply continuous improvement initiatives to drive process, inventory accuracy, compliance, on-time completion, within budget, documented resultsDesign and generate appropriate reporting to track inventory accuracy, shrink compliance, and variance root cause trendsMaintain thorough knowledge of internal and customer systems to provide extensive support to the operational team as well as the customer for inventory and production related issuesDevelop resource plans and equipment needs budget for review with site leadership.We are looking forExperience in contract logistics especially in a customer facing roleExperience to work in an international matrix organization with excellent stakeholder management capabilitiesLean thinking and continuous improvement will be a standard way of Leading.Excellent interpersonal, communication skillsExperience with Warehouse Management SystemsDeep and broad understanding of Inventory Control, its financial and operational impactsStrong personality; passionate, holistic view, courageous, effective in different cultural settings, impact driven and optimisticResilient team player who is goal-orientated and demonstrates a high level of commitment with the ability to work under minimal supervision.Passion for people and team developmentFluent in German and English both in writing and speakingMaersk is committed to a diverse and inclusive workplace, and we embrace different styles of thinking.
