When you add that to the challenges we take on and solve together, you’ll discover that at HARMAN you can grow, make a difference and be proud of the work you do everyday.Please note: This is a fixed-term position for 12 monthsAbout the RoleThe Acoustic Systems Engineer will work on Harman’s Car Audio system design, development and the focus on tuning of new audio systems cars: The role will leverage Harman’s brand technology leadership to create the best automotive audio systems in the world.What You Will DoDesign and tune audio systems in the automotive environment for multiple projects, platforms and toolsPrepare technical requirements and report presentationsSupport departmental initiatives and activities as directed by the department management teamProvide technical support and guidance for the solution of various customers’ and interdepartmental initiativesDevelop and document tools and best practices in an international environmentPlanning and managing customer projects and alignment with internal and external stakeholdersPick up and delivering cars from customer to car labPreparation of internal/ external audits within the work domain and locationOrganization of local poolcar- and equipment maintenanceSupport or execution of mechanical tasks e.g. disassembling and mounting hardware components loudspeaker, amplifier, head-unit)Create and maintain project documentation and reporting for various stakeholdersTravel to customers and other Harman sites within Europe on a weekly basisWhat You Need to Be SuccessfulBachelor’s degree in Engineering or Acoustics is required. Master’s degree in Engineering preferred.
