Working at Freudenberg: We will wow your worldResponsibilities:Data Governance Framework: Develop, implement, and continuously improve a comprehensive data governance framework that includes policies, procedures, and standards for effective data management across the organizationMaster Data Management (MDM): Design and oversee master data management strategies to ensure that critical data entities are consistently defined, managed, and maintained across the organization.Project Integration: Collaborate with project teams to integrate data governance and master data management best practices into project planning, execution, and delivery.Data Quality Oversight: Lead initiatives to enhance data quality, accuracy, and consistency, including defining data quality metrics, monitoring performance, and addressing data quality issues.Data Stewardship: Identify and appoint data stewards for key data domains, defining roles and responsibilities for managing and overseeing master data.Compliance and Regulatory Requirements: Ensure that data governance and master data management practices align with relevant regulations and industry standards, and stay updated on emerging compliance requirements.Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with stakeholders across various departments to understand their data needs, promote data governance principles, and facilitate effective data management practices.Training and Development: Develop and deliver training programs on data governance and master data management concepts, policies, and best practices to foster a culture of data stewardship.Continuous Improvement: Monitor the effectiveness of data governance and master data management initiatives, assess performance, and recommend improvements to enhance data management practices.Qualifications:Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Management, Data Science, or a related field.Years of experience in data management with a strong focus on data governance and master data management in an enterprise environmentProven expertise in developing and implementing data governance frameworks and master data management strategies.Demonstrated experience in improving data quality and managing data stewardship programs.Strong project management skills with the ability to drive multiple initiatives simultaneously.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all organizational levels.Familiarity with regulatory compliance related to data management.
