The company is headquartered in the US.Essential Functions:Develop and build a strategic sales plan to target the airport industry in Europe.Work closely with strategic OEMs and the relevant Cognex sales team to enable our airport solutions to be deployed across Europe.Properly forecast and close ABH opportunities with OEMs and Airports; Maintain and continuously update project information in the CRM;Follow up on sales leads and schedule customer visits; Prospects for new OEMs and Airports who are not using Cognex’s products.Build long-term relationships with OEMs and Airports that enable year over year growth.Conduct product and solution demonstrations at customer sites; Assist at trade shows and other marketing events.Follow up on customer inquiries, understand system requirements, and differentiate the Cognex solution; Coordinate trials and proof of concepts utilizing the Applications Engineering team.Collaborate with counterparts from other territories on opportunities that are either integrated or installed in a different territory, or where the decision makers don’t reside in the LSE’s territory.Generate proposals individually or in collaboration with Logistics Services team.Key Qualifications:​Skills & Abilities:Strong understanding of airport operations and baggage handling systemsExcellent communication and relationship-building skillsProven ability to manage multiple accounts, prioritize under pressure and strong time management skills.Ability to create long-term profitable relationshipsAbility to manage and lead transversallyOutstanding listening attitude for in-depth understanding of large accounts and their position in the industryTechnical knowledge and credibility, in order to lead large projects identifiedUnderstanding of the logistics industry, industry terminology and processesExperience in selling turnkey solutionsAbility to approach C-level managersAbility to handle multitasks, prioritize, and manage time efficientlyStrong negotiation skills, with ability to get signed large accounts contractsWillingness to TravelFluent English. Other languages can be a plusExperience:5+ years of experience in logistics, aviation, or transportation servicesBachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, or related field preferred.
