European Commodity Clearing AG | Cloud Engineer for Secure Markets

As a Senior Cloud Engineer, you will be part of our journey to build secure and sustainable markets. Your role involves taking over an essential position within the software development / engineering team, working with internal and external stakeholders to build and improve our development tools and infrastructure. You will implement development and release processes in line with security requirements, ensuring cybersecurity threats are avoided. Additionally, you will help development teams fully utilize our target platforms (Openshift, Public Cloud (GCP), Linux, etc.).

Requirements
You should have a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a relevant field. Experience as a DevOps Engineer or similar software engineering role is required. Practical knowledge in developing engineering applications for a large corporation is welcome. You should also have experience with Git and Git workflows, Openshift, K8s(GKE), Public Cloud (preferably GCP) and Linux. Good knowledge of relevant tools and technologies (e.g. Jenkins, Groovy, Terraform, Ansible, Helm, Docker, ....) is necessary. Experience in developing with at least one programming or scripting language (e.g. Java, Python) is also required. Knowledge in using ElasticSearch, Prometheus and observability in general is desired. Working knowledge of databases and SQL is necessary. Problem-solving attitude and collaborative team spirit are essential.
