European Commodity Clearing AG | Cloud-Based Data Architect

About the Role
This position is focused on software development, with an emphasis on data engineering and cloud-based technologies. You will support our Data Technologies team as a Software Developer, working closely with business departments to create requirements and translate them into software designs. Your expertise in Java, Python, and the GCP ecosystem will be essential in driving innovation and improving our data technologies portfolio.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement modern data artifacts to transform our data landscape
- Develop specific data-based solutions for different parts of the organization using state-of-the-art technologies and security tools
- Analyze our data technologies portfolio for potential improvements and derive new features
- Support business departments in creating requirements and translating them into software designs
Requirements
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- A degree in Information Technology/Engineering or equivalent experience
- Several years of demonstrable experience in agile/scrum-based environments
- Extensive experience in Java, Python, and the GCP ecosystem
- Routine familiarity with Requirements Engineering and experience in Cloud-Based Data Technologies solutions
- Strong analytical skills
