Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Cloud Engineer to join our team at European Commodity Clearing AG. As a Senior Cloud Engineer, you will play a key role in building and maintaining secure and sustainable markets. This position involves working closely with internal and external stakeholders to develop and improve our development tools and infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement development and release processes that meet security requirements.
  • Collaborate with development teams to ensure they fully utilize our target platforms (Openshift, Public Cloud (GCP), Linux).
  • Work with various internal and external stakeholders to achieve project goals.

Requirements
You should hold a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a relevant field. Experience as a DevOps Engineer or similar software engineering role is required. Practical knowledge in developing engineering applications for large corporations is welcome. You should also have experience with Git and Git workflows, Openshift, K8s(GKE), Public Cloud (preferably GCP) and Linux. Good knowledge of relevant tools and technologies (e.g. Jenkins, Groovy, Terraform, Ansible, Helm, Docker) is necessary. Experience in developing with at least one programming or scripting language (e.g. Java, Python) is also required. Knowledge in using ElasticSearch, Prometheus and observability in general is desired. Working knowledge of databases and SQL is necessary. A problem-solving attitude and collaborative team spirit are essential.

Compensation and Benefits:

An estimated annual salary for this position is €120,000 - €150,000, depending on qualifications and experience.
