About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Controlling Specialist to join our team at Prysmian Group. As a Controlling Specialist, you will be responsible for the independent execution and coordination of accounting and controlling activities in international projects using the POC method.
Key Responsibilities
- Implement accounting and controlling of international projects using the POC method.
- Coordinate and create budget forecasts and long-term planning in collaboration with project managers.
- Determine sales and profit distribution for the current year with deviation analysis and verification with department management.
- Prepare, present, and moderate results discussions, and serve as a contact person for questions.
- Document projects according to accounting principles and specified processes.
- Take over system technical support and processing of projects in the SAP system.
- Act as the first point of contact for department management and specialist departments in project controlling.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Statistics, Engineering, or a related field or a comparable training.
- Several years of professional experience, preferably more than 3 years, in project controlling.
- Thorough knowledge of IFRS project accounting.
- Domain of advanced Excel skills, including PivotTables, data segmentation, Power Pivot, and creation of forms and macros.
- Fluent spoken and written German and English skills.
- Sound MS Office and SAP R/3 knowledge.
- Demonstrated teamwork skills, adaptability, and a meticulous work ethic.
- Strong analytical skills combined with effective communication abilities.
